LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Birmingham welcomes Marcus Rashford to Aston Villa

LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Birmingham has put together a custom minifigure and display to welcome Marcus Rashford to Aston Villa.

Earlier this week, Aston Villa announced it would be loaning Marcus Rashford from Manchester United. The 27-year-old professional footballer has also played for England, scoring 17 goals for the national team, and made over 400 appearances for Manchester United.

Rashford will spend the rest of the season at Birmingham-based Aston Villa and LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Birmingham has joined the rest of the city in welcoming its newest player. In a display in the location, you can see a custom minifigure of the star player in a kit similar to Aston Villa’s, displayed in a brick-built football stadium.

“Marcus mentioned that joining Aston Villa was an ‘easy decision,’ and our team here at LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Birmingham felt the same in making him feel at home,” said Amy Langham, General Manager of LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Birmingham, speaking to Express and Star. “We have a few passionate Aston Villa supporters in the team, so this tribute feels extra special to us.”

The minifigure and display will be available to view to visitors of LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Birmingham for the foreseeable future.
