LEGOLAND California Resort closes due to coronavirus
LEGOLAND California Resort’s press team has confirmed that the theme park will be closing until March 31.
As with the LEGOLAND Florida Resort, LEGOLAND California Resort will close from Saturday, March 14 until March 31. As the coronavirus situation has evolved, so has the reaction of theme park managers. Just a day ago, LEGOLAND stated its intention to remain open.
Coronavirus has continued to spread around the world, leading to events being cancelled, locations being closed and restrictions placed by governments. LEGOLAND California Resort will close at the end of today, March 14, and remain closed for the remainder of March.
The hotels remain open at the theme park, although anyone with reservations or tickets can find information at the official LEGOLAND website, which explains what the options are for exchanges and refunds.
In the UK, the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort has opened, with a new ride launching tomorrow – there has been no word yet that the park will be closing. In Billund, Denmark, the LEGO House has closed for the rest of the month.
