LEGOLAND California Resort closure extended

LEGOLAND California Resort’s press team has confirmed that the theme park will be closing until March 31.

After closing for the back half of March in response to the coronavirus outbreak, LEGOLAND California Resort will remain closed until April 15. LEGOLAND Florida Resort has annoucned a similar measure.

Here is the official announcement:

With the recent state order to all Californians to stay home and the rapid changes in the Coronavirus (Covid-19) situation, LEGOLAND® California Resort will extend the closure of its theme park, water park, SEA LIFE Aquarium and LEGOLAND Hotels until April 15, 2020.

The health and safety of our guests and our staff remains our top priority and we’ll continue to follow the safety measures recommended within the federal, state and CDC guidelines.

The hotels remain open at the theme park, although anyone with reservations or tickets can find information at the official LEGOLAND website, which explains what the options are for exchanges and refunds.

In Billund, Denmark, the LEGO House has closed for the rest of the month. LEGOLAND Windsor Resort has also closed in the UK.
