LEGOLAND Germany’s new LEGO MYTHICA area opens soon
The new area dedicated to LEGO MYTHICA in LEGOLAND Germany is just a couple of months away from opening.
According to Promobricks, the new area of the park will open on March 25, 2023, after an investment of €15 million. This has resulted in a new rollercoaster and 14 LEGO sculptures built from over one and a half million bricks across the one-hectare space.
Wing Coaster Maximus, the rollercoaster, is the clear centrepiece of the space. The light blue track rises up to 17 metres above the ground at its highest point, with passengers reaching speeds of up to 54 km/h. In a departure from the norm, visitors will also sit to the right and left of the rail, with their legs dangling in the air to create the illusion of free fall.
Tickets and overnight packages are already available to book now ahead of the new space’s opening in a couple of months’ time. You can also plan yoiur visit to the park before then via the LEGOLAND Germany website.
