LEGOLAND gives NHS workers early access to LEGO MYTHICA

A day before the official opening of LEGO MYTHICA, NHS key workers and their families were invited to try out the new attractions early.

LEGO MYTHICA opened its doors to the public today, but LEGOLAND Windsor wanted to offer early access to key workers from the Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust, as a thank-you for their hard work during the pandemic.

Their day out included trying out a flying theatre ride, the Hydra’s Challenge water ride, and the Fire And Ice Freefall drop tower, as well as the other debut attractions available in the new area of the resort. You can see some of what they got up to in a video from LEGOLAND Windsor, shared on Twitter:

“Our local NHS key workers continue to do an amazing job and we wanted to say a small thank you for their selfless efforts during what has been an incredibly difficult and challenging year for us all,” said Helen Bull, divisional director at LEGOLAND Windsor Resort, in the Evening Standard.

“We were delighted to work with the Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust to invite families to experience the incredible world of LEGO MYTHICA and the UK’s first flying theatre ride before it opens to guests.”
