LEGO MYTHICA at LEGOLAND Windsor opens tomorrow

After a long journey of teasers, previews and reveals, LEGOLAND Windsor’s MYTHICA expansion officially opens this weekend.

The new land will enable guests to step into another world, a realm full of mythical creatures of new and old with a new attraction, refurbished rides, and plenty of LEGO building to be done.

“We are so excited to welcome children and their families into the incredible world of LEGO MYTHICA; the first and only land of its kind on earth,” said Helen Bull, Divisional Director at LEGOLAND Windsor Resort. “Guests can build, create, and let their imaginations run wild, whilst making incredible memories together as a family once again.”

“We are really proud to launch LEGO MYTHICA during our 25^th anniversary year which is a huge achievement for all of the team who have worked tirelessly throughout the pandemic to bring this magnificent world to life.” added the Director.

The expansion’s flagship attraction, Flight of the Sky Lion, is the first flying theatre experience in the UK and will whisk guests away on a tour of MYTHICA led by the titular creature. An enormous model sits in front of the attraction, which took a team of model makers a lengthy amount of time to build.

You can read our thoughts on the land thanks to an early preview, but those not in the UK can rest assured that the world of MYTHICA will also be making its way to at least one other LEGOLAND resort.
