LEGOLAND Windsor Resort plans for July reopening

After being closed for almost the whole of 2020 so far, LEGOLAND Windsor Resort has announced plans for reopening, which is currently planned for July 4.

Just a week after opening for the 2020 season with a new DUPLO Dino Coaster attraction, LEGOLAND Windsor Resort closed in line with restrictions designed to reduce the spread of coronavirus. Now, the theme park is sharing plans for reopening with new hygiene and safety measures in place, with July 4 pencilled in as the big day.

Here is the official statement shared on behalf of Karen Glassey, Operations Director:

As you’d expect, a day out or overnight stay at LEGOLAND Windsor will feel a little different to before but everything we are introducing is with your safety, and our team’s safety, as our top priority.

You’ll be used to a lot of the new measures, such as social distancing in queues and being encouraged to use cards rather than cash, as these have become the new normal when visiting supermarkets and other shops.

But in preparation for reopening we have reviewed how we operate every single part of the Park and Hotels to make sure that you have a brilliant, safe visit. Some things to expect include a pre-book ticket system to manage visitor numbers and different seating arrangements on rides.

In line with current Government guidance, we hope to be able to reopen on Saturday 4th July 2020. More details on our health and safety plans can be found below and please remember, this is just the first stage of updating you. Keep looking out over the next few weeks for a definite reopening date and more information about how to pre-book your tickets.
