Licensed 1,300-piece LEGO Icons set rumoured for 2023

A LEGO Buy at Buy at Buy at Buy at Icons set with over 1,000 pieces is now also rumoured for late 2023, said to be based on a licensed intellectual property. 

With ‘IP’ included in the post’s text, the latest rumour from lego_minecraft_goat reports that a licensed LEGO Buy at Buy at Buy at Buy at Icons model is coming in August 2023 with 1,363 pieces.

LEGO Icons is the LEGO Group’s theme for 18+ models designed for an older audience and covers a variety of original creations and licensed builds too. In 2022 alone, LEGO Icons sets based on existing IP included 10306 Atari 2600, 10300 Back to the Future Time Machine

The reported 10315 set has a similar piece count to these models but there’s no indication of what licensed property it could be based on as LEGO Icons has been shown to include everything from games, films, animated series and physical products too. 

As always, this is only a rumour until officially confirmed by the LEGO Group. In the case of this source and its current credibility, take this report with an extra pinch of salt in case. At the very least, we know LEGO Icons is returning in 2023 with three sets.
