New look at Marvel Studios’ Kang could offer LEGO inspiration
A fresh look at Marvel Studios’ new Avengers-level enemy includes a vehicle that could be perfect for a LEGO recreation.
Empire has revealed a new image of Kang from the upcoming Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania Marvel Cinematic Universe movie. However, the most interesting aspect of this latest look at the villain isn’t the character, but the chair he sits on.
In the comics, Kang the Conqueror uses a time-drive chair to travel through time and space. It’s also equipped with offensive and defensive capabilities. This platform with one chair in front and an extra row of seating at the back looks similar to a floating platform featured in the first trailer for the film, indicating that this is Kang’s Time Chair in the MCU.
Rumours for a LEGO set based on the film have surfaced online, reporting a price of €29.99. Previous LEGO Marvel models based on MCU movies have depicted specific vehicles or locations from the movie, the former of which is a category that the floating chair could fit into.
Whether the rumours are true or not, this chair could be a good LEGO creation – official or fan-made – to accompany a Kang the Conqueror minifigure in time for the release of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania on February 17, 2023. Kang will also feature, as this variant or another, in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty in 2025.
