Marvel Studios’ Thunderbolts’ production is moving quickly

Marvel Studios’ Thunderbolts appears to be at least a bit ahead of schedule as production is already underway, one of the movie’s stars reveals.

Marvel Studios’ Thunderbolts is currently due to be released on May 5, 2025, featuring Yelena Belova, Red Guardian, the Winter Soldier, US Agent, Taskmaster, Valentina Allegra de Fontaine and Ghost according to concept art shared in 2022. The cast includes Florence Pugh, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Sebastian Stan, Olga Kurylenko, David Harbour, Wyatt Russell and more.

Florence Pugh briefly stated that she has already started shooting her scenes as Yelena Belova when speaking to Entertainment Tonight at the New York City premiere of “Dune: Part 2 and shared on X (formerly Twitter) by Thunderbolts News.

The movie was previously reported to start shooting in March but it appears to be a few days ahead of schedule, or at least it is for Florence Pugh. It’s a promising update for the 2025 movie and we can only hope that it isn’t delayed any further.

In the meantime, Deadpool & Wolverine is this year’s only new Marvel Cinematic Universe movie and has its debut trailer available to watch now. The cast and release date for the Fantastic Four film has been announced too. The franchise is reportedly retooling plans for the next Avengers movie, so there may be more changes to come.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
