More details on rumoured LEGO Disney sets appear online

A retailer has suggested what two rumoured LEGO Disney sets might be centred around.

Dutch retailer De Gestelse Bazar, as reported by 1414FalconFan on Instagram, has suggested that two rumoured LEGO Disney sets, known only as 43239 and 43249, will be linked to classic Disney animations. So far, the majority of classic characters have been from Mickey himself and the rest of his friends, such as Minnie, Donald Duck, and more. Other classics like Peter Pan, Tinkerbell, and Woody were also featured in 43212 Disney Celebration Train?, as well as of course a variety of Disney characters from throughout the years in 71038 Disney 100, but there’s plenty of scope left for other characters to appear.

Many popular early Disney Classics included animals as main characters, such as The Lion King, The Jungle Book, Dumbo, and Bambi, which could make for some interesting minidoll variants and engaging scenery to make sets out of. A brick-built circus tent where Dumbo flies for the first time, or a recreation of the instantly-recognisable Pride Rock. would certainly make for impressive and nostalgic LEGO Disney sets.

Even for those movies that stay to human worlds, there are still a few titles that have been scarcely covered by LEGO Disney designers so far, such as The Sword in the Stone or The Hunchback of Notre Dame. While other classics like Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, and so on have been well-trodden in a number of sets, it could be fun to see some of the less common (but ever-popular titles) get some attention too.

Still, we’ll have to wait and see if and when these. sets are truly on their way, which we won’t know for sure until we get official confirmation from the LEGO Group. For now, here’s a reminder of the LEGO Disney sets rumoured for 2024.
