The LEGO Group has published more images of the first wave of LEGO Harry Potter 2024 sets, offering a closer look at the debut sections of the new Hogwarts system.
When the product listings for the six new LEGO Harry Potter March 2024 sets first landed online in late 2023, they were accompanied only by box art and renders – so nothing that gave us a good look at the sets in hand. The LEGO Group’s ‘lifestyle’ images of its products in situ can usually be relied on for those but were nowhere to be seen at the time.
Our patience has paid off, however, as the LEGO Group has now published lifestyle shots and additional renders for all six of the new LEGO Harry Potter sets coming our way in March. From a new Forbidden Forest set filled with its own magical menagerie to the smallest buildable Hedwig yet, here’s a closer look at the first 2024 Wizarding World wave…
76424 Flying Ford Anglia
Price: £12.99 / $14.99 / €14.99 Pieces: 165 Release date: March 1, 2024
The smallest model of the new LEGO Harry Potter wave places the spotlight on a build only previously seen as part of a larger set. 76424 Flying Ford Anglia is the first time we’ve seen this iconic Wizarding World vehicle as a standalone set, and means it’s now more accessible than ever before. You’ll find Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hedwig and Scabbers in the box.
76425 Hedwig at 4 Privet Drive
Price: £17.99 / $19.99 / €19.99 Pieces: 337 Release date: March 1, 2024
We’ve had first Hedwig, yes, and even second Hedwig, but what about third Hedwig? Downsizing Harry’s feathery friend to her smallest buildable model to date, 76425 Hedwig at 4 Privet Drive feels like a junior take on 76391 Hogwarts Icons Collectors’ Edition. These new images show off her articulated wings in better detail than ever.
76426 Hogwarts Castle Boathouse
Price: £31.99 / $37.99 / €37.99 Pieces: 350 Release date: March 1, 2024
The LEGO Group has confirmed in product descriptions that a brand new Hogwarts system is starting in 2024, leaving behind the boxy modular builds of 2021 to 2023 that came to a close with 76415 The Battle of Hogwarts. The first of the new range is 76426 Hogwarts Castle Boathouse, a slice of the school that we’ve never seen before in its own set. This one includes Harry Potter, Neville Longbottom, Hermione Granger, Dean Thomas and Professor McGonagall minifigures.
76428 Hagrid’s Hut: An Unexpected Visit
Price: £64.99 / $74.99 / €74.99 Pieces: 896 Release date: March 1, 2024
Returning to well-trodden ground,
76430 Hogwarts Castle Owlery
Price: £39.99 / $44.99 / €44.99 Pieces: 364 Release date: March 1, 2024
Another section of Hogwarts getting its own set for the first time, 76430 Hogwarts Castle Owlery hints that this new modular range might all be built on top of a rocky landscape, leaving the door open to underground classrooms (and the Chamber of Secrets!) while hewing closer to the aesthetic of 71043 Hogwarts Castle. Look out for Harry Potter, Cho Chang, Argus Filch and all the owls in this Order of the Phoenix set.
76432 Forbidden Forest: Magical Creatures
Price: £24.99 / $29.99 / €29.99 Pieces: 172 Release date: March 1, 2024
