More LEGO Party! game details revealed, including VIDIYO
More details for the upcoming LEGO Party! game have surfaced overnight following the reveal at Summer Game Fest, including a VIDIYO cameo.
LEGO Party! was revealed at Summer Game Fest yesterday, and it will arrive later this year on PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. The party game for up to four players tasks players with collecting the most golden bricks and playing minigames to ensure victory. Details were somewhat light otherwise.
Now, though, the official website for the game is live with more important details, including a pre-order bonus only for the game’s physical edition.
LEGO Party! will offer an extra incentive for players to pick up the physical edition over the digital version. The physical version will only be released on Nintendo Switch, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, but pre-ordering it will unlock five additional minifigures to use in the game.

This includes a few from the retired LEGO VIDIYO, including the Shark Singer, Cotton Candy Cheerleader and the Ice Cream Saxophonist. A pair of LEGO City minifigure designs is also part of the pre-order package. The physical edition will cost $44.99 in the US, and other regional pricing has yet to be confirmed. An exact release date for the game’s digital and physical editions has not been announced, aside from the fourth quarter of 2025.
The website also goes into detail on the game’s minifigure customisation feature. As teased in the press release, you’ll be able to make a minifigure to use in the game, from all kinds of official LEGO sets. A screenshot of this function teases what to expect.

The website states that there are over one billion combinations, while the screenshot only shows pre-made minifigures. This suggests that you’ll be able to mix and match parts – unless there are one billion minifigures to pick from (much more than there have been in official sets).
It has also been confirmed that LEGO Party! will feature 60 minigames. LEGO Party! will be released later this year on PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch digitally. There will also be a physical edition with a pre-order bonus on Nintendo Switch, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
