More scenes from Jurassic Park that need an 18+ LEGO set

A brand new 18+ LEGO Jurassic Park set is on the way, but what other scenes from the classic film deserve a brick-built display model?

76956 T. rex Breakout recreates an iconic Jurassic Park scene in bricks with a LEGO for Adults build that focus on detail and accuracy, with a quote from the scene that completes the display.

With those guidelines in mind, what other moments from the original Jurassic Park film are worthy of a similar set? While the below is only speculation, you can pick up 76956 T. rex Breakout from April 17, 2022, for £89.99 / €99.99 $99.99

“Welcome to Jurassic Park.”

As a classic part of the opening moments of the movie, the first introduction to the dinosaurs of Jurassic Park, including a huge brachiosaurus, could be a great inspiration for a model without the LEGO designers needing to create one or more new elements for the huge dinosaur. We can imagine a tall tree, brachiosaurus and three minifigures of John Hammond, Alan Grant and Ellie Sattler making up a model.

Mr. Hammond, after careful consideration, I’ve decided not to endorse your park.”

Moving now to the end of the film, the battle between the velociraptors and the T. rex in the main hall of the visitor’s centre could finally give us a representation of the building in bricks and the same dinosaur design from 76956 T. rex Breakout might allow for more posing options than the specialised elements usually used for the creature to accurately recreate the scene.

“It’s inside.”

This scene has already been featured in a LEGO set back in 75932 Jurassic Park Velociraptor Chase. However, a dedicated 18+ model might offer an opportunity to fully depict the kitchen with more flexible LEGO velociraptors that can pose their heads low to the ground as they peer around corners.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
