New LEGO Certified Store is opening soon in Singapore
Singapore will get a new LEGO Certified Store, opening its doors very soon this coming autumn.
The new retail location will join seven other LEGO stores in Singapore, opening in the city’s Changi Airport Terminal 3. Spotted by brickfinder on Instagram, there’s construction underway to get the new store ready for its opening date, promised to open sometime this month.
For those who don’t know, a LEGO Certified Store will look and feel just like a LEGO Store, but isn’t actually owned by the LEGO Group but rather a third party. A key difference is that the LEGO Insiders program or LEGO gift cards won’t be available to use there However, all the same features and attractions are sure to be there, from the Pick-a-Brick wall to enormous brick-built models to inspire builders while on their travels.
Certified Stores also have a little bit more leeway with creative promotional displays. In fact, another LEGO Certified Store in Singapore has already played home to an ‘adults corner‘, centred around 18+ sets in a dedicated collection.
There’s not much detail on what to expect from the LEGO Certified Store in Changi Airport Terminal 3, but with an opening date in the next couple of weeks, we should hear and see more pretty soon.
