There’s a new LEGO factory set, and it’s surprisingly attainable… for now
Images of 2025’s second new LEGO factory set have turned up online, and a few early copies on the secondary market are coming in at surprisingly attainable prices.
Following April’s super-rare 4000043 Vietnam 2025 Factory comes another equally hard-to-find set in 4000045 Nyíregyháza Factory 2025 (h/t Brickset), a 531-piece model that commemorates the finished expansion of the LEGO Group’s factory in Hungary. Construction began in 2023 and was completed on schedule this year, boosting the plant’s production capacity by 30%.
This is the 10th such LEGO factory set to arrive since 2011, and the second based on this particular factory (the first debuted in 2014 when it first opened). But while its Vietnam predecessor currently commands upwards of £220 on BrickLink – and there are only two copies available to purchase at all – you can score 4000045 Nyíregyháza Factory 2025 for as little as £70 if you’re happy to accept a dent in the side of the box.

If you want one in mint condition, you’re still only looking at spending around £88, so this is a comparatively much more affordable factory set at the time of writing. 4000045 is so niche (and new) that it doesn’t yet have its own listing on BrickLink, mind, so you’ll need to type the product number into the search bar or head to this link, which returns a handful of custom item listings for the set.
Unsurprisingly, all but one are from Hungarian sellers, because as is tradition for LEGO factory models, this set will only have been handed out to employees on site and is not being sold through traditional retail channels. If you’re already down this particular collecting rabbit hole, though, the secondary market is your friend… for now. Time will tell if prices reach the same levels as the Vietnam set once supplies begin to dwindle.
