Cedric Diggory will come bundled with a new LEGO Harry Potter activity book from the LEGO Group’s publishing partner AMEET (h/t Hoth Bricks). The minifigure doesn’t technically use any new parts, but this is the first time we’ve had a named Hufflepuff Quidditch player.
The torso originally debuted in this year’s 75978 Diagon Alley, offering a very expensive way to assemble a full Quidditch team. The head and hair, meanwhile, are the same as those used for Cedric in 2019’s 75946 Hungarian Horntail Triwizard Challenge and 75948 Hogwarts Clock Tower.
You’ll typically find these activity books lining supermarket shelves, and often at a discount. It should prove a much cheaper way to grab a full ensemble of Hufflepuff Quidditch players than 75978 Diagon Alley, then. All we need now is a Ravenclaw equivalent.
The book will launch in the first quarter of 2021, and promises a mix of “fun-filled activities and puzzles”.
Four new classroom textbooks are rumoured to be joining the Wizarding World theme in January, along with a Hogwarts Crest LEGO Art mosaic. A further 13 sets will reportedly follow in the summer, including at least one to mark the 20th anniversary of the LEGO Harry Potter theme.
