New LEGO Harry Potter Triwizard Tournament build called expensive in early review

Reviews for LEGO Harry Potter 76420 Triwizard Tournament: The Black Lake have landed online, with one suggesting that it’s too expensive.

A first look at the March 2023 LEGO Harry Potter set from Brickonaute has revealed further details of the set not properly showcased in officially released images including a closer glimpse of the five included minifigures.

76420 Triwizard Tournament: The Black Lake revisits a scene last featured in 4762 Rescue from the Merpeople and its selection of minifigures is undoubtedly an interesting aspect of the model. The review shows the alternate expressions for the five minifigures, as well as a look at Viktor’s mouth print with the shark head removed.

The interior of the pier building is also highlighted in the review, but there only seems to be room for refreshments or possibly potion preparation. Inside the frame of the underwater arch, there’s a small space with enough room for an included goblet on each side, offering more options for play.

The review states that the upcoming set is simply too expensive for the included piece count and the volume of the final build. 76420 Triwizard Tournament: The Black Lake costs £39.99 / $44.99 / €44.99 for 349 pieces with five minifigures.  you can pick it up starting March 1, 2023.
