New LEGO Master Model Builder chosen for LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Manchester
The second LEGO Master Model Builder for the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Manchester has been chosen.
James Windle will join Alex Bidolak as the second Master Model Builder at the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Manchester. Thousands of candidates applied for the role, before it was whittled down to a shortlist and James was chosen. As well as their employment background, potential builders were assessed on their LEGO creativity.
He received the news from a walking, life sized minifigure dressed in a shark outfit.
“This is a hugely exciting time at the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Manchester,” Jenn McDonough, General Manager, said in July. “Such is the success of our popular family attraction, that we now need a second master model builder to join the fast-paced and brilliantly creative team here.”
Each LEGOLAND Discovery Centre contains a mix of small rides, impressive brick built displays and hands-on activities. The Master Model Builder role combines maintaining the centre’s models and engaging with the children who visit. Children aged 6 to 12 are the target audience for the mini LEGOLAND venues, with special AFOL nights held to give adults an opportunity to enjoy the centres.
Tickets to the venue can be booked at the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Manchester website.
