New LEGO NINJAGO Dragons Rising character revealed

A brand-new character for LEGO NINJAGO Dragons Rising has been revealed, using a familiar element from another original theme.

A comic cover for the next chapter of LEGO NINJAGO – Dragons Rising – from executive producer Asa Tait has given us a first look at a previously unrevealed character.

Located at the bottom of the cover, the character with brown hair and a crescent-shaped item on her head has yet to be featured in any trailers for the upcoming season.

Nothing is known about this character though her presence alongside Nya, Lloyd, Kai and the other two new characters suggests that they will have a prominent role in the show. That makes three new characters potentially joining the team of six ninjas.

The hair piece used for the character appears to be the same as in 80032 Chang’e Moon Cake Factory. Provided the NINJAGO character is included in future LEGO sets, this could be the second appearance of the Monkie Kid element.

NINJAGO Dragons Rising is launching from June 1 with varying release dates around the world. Promotion for the next chapter of the theme is in full force lately with clips and trailers surfacing online.

In Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu, The Cursed Realm and The Realm of The Djinns are destroyed.
It is like Khanjikhan said to Nadakhan, his son prince of the Djinns, “As you know, the Sixteen Realms are interconnected and the balance affects us all. When one falls, another falls apart.”

Two Realms of the 16 realms are gone. Khanjikhan said it best and explained as The Realm of The Djinns was being destroyed, “When one falls, the other falls apart”. Hence the Merge happened. But it is strange that Lloyd forgot that the realm his father was trapped in, before Harumi rose him from the dead, was destroyed and that Nadakhan was trying to rebuild the Djinn world. In Ninjago: Dragons Rising episode 2, Lloyd say the 16 realms were being merged. Unless 2 other realms replaced The Djinn realm and The Cursed realm, there are only 14 realms.

It’s strange because we know the Preeminent, the Cursed Realm, still exists thanks to Secrets of the Forbidden Spinjitzu and it escaping temporarily from presumably the Departed Realm. Maybe Djinjago still exists to some extent? Who knows what the merge has done to reality in NINJAGO!
