New Mandalorian posters are begging for LEGO Star Wars minifigures

Star Wars has released two new character posters in the build-up to The Mandalorian Season 3 finale – and we need them as LEGO minifigures.

Warning: spoilers ahead for the latest episode of The Mandalorian, Chapter 23: The Spies

Both introduced in Chapter 23: The Spies, the latest character posters feature IG-12 and the trio of Praetorian Guards, complete with their Mandalorian-style helmets. While we’ve had Praetorian minifigures before, as recently as 2019 in 75225 Elite Praetorian Guard Battle Pack, the addition of the Mandalorian-inspired helmet style is a new one for the Star Wars universe – and we need it to translate to LEGO Star Wars ASAP.

The new helmet design features two visor slits, in the typical Mandalorian T-shape format that Din Djarin himself favours. As Moff Gideon explained in his villain monologue, he has taken inspiration from several major cultures to create his new prototype army, from the Jedi to the Mandalorians – and you can clearly see the difference in the new look of the Guards.

The other poster, featuring Grogu and IG-12, would also be a welcome minifigure – or even buildable figure – addition. We’ve already seen an unofficial build that combine a droid mech body with Grogu figures, but an official one incorporated with a larger set of Nevarro or as a GWP would be a welcome addition to the LEGO Star Wars theme.

What’s more, if you need a quick reminder of the brutal ending of last week’s episode before the finale airs tomorrow, one LEGO YouTuber has you covered.
