LEGO Fortnite's latest update will, as teased, bring storms and a city to the digital experience as the main mode is set to be renamed soon.
Another batch of updates to LEGO Fortnite is on the way including a whole new mode and a renamed main experience that will see the arrival of a fresh but familiar villain. The updates start to roll out on December 10 and include the newly-named LEGO Fortnite Odyssey.

While LEGO Fortnite was once the name of the main survival-crafting mode, it will be labelled as LEGO Fortnite Odyssey starting tomorrow. The Storm Chasers update will include dungeons, new weapons, new enemies and improved crafting mechanics, following other major updates which added new locations and more content too. This all comes as the LEGO Fortnite Odyssey mode celebrates its first anniversary.

To access both modes, a new LEGO Fortnite hub will be launching within Fortnite to track all the LEGO experiences easily. This will likely be where you can fan-made and official LEGO Islands in the future too. A release date for the hub has not been confirmed, but it may arrive as soon as tomorrow along with the LEGO Fortnite Odyssey name change.
“One year on from our unveiling of LEGO Fortnite, these launches reflect the LEGO Group and Epic Games’ ongoing commitment to continuing to bring even more varied and diverse play experiences to players of all ages," said Remi Marcelli, SVP and Head of LEGO GAME at the LEGO Group. "We’re sure that players are going to love the new adventures and ways to play as these updates bring to life a number of new dimensions of LEGO play on Fortnite.”
Now that the LEGO Group is making physical models based on LEGO Fortnite, LEGO Fortnite Brick Life seems to be a perfect fit for many exciting builds in the future, but no further sets have been announced at the time of writing. The first four, including
