New US LEGO Store grand opening includes Star Wars Master Builder event

Visitors to the grand opening of a LEGO Store in the US this weekend can take part in a special LEGO Star Wars Master Builder event.

The LEGO Group continued to expand its physical retail presence in 2022, most recently with the opening of a brand new flagship store in China. A total of 66 new LEGO Stores opened in the first half of 2022 – including 46 in China – bringing the total number around the world to 834.

Now added to that growing list of locations is a new US-based LEGO Store in Nashua, New Hampshire. The site can be found at the Pheasant Lane Mall and will be celebrating this weekend with a grand opening. Visitors to the store will be able to take advantage of special offers and even participate in a unique LEGO Grogu Master Builder event. To join in with all of the activities, you’ll need to pop into the store from 10am to 6pm on January 7 and 12pm to 5pm on January 8, 2023.

There’s currently no word on exactly what the LEGO Grogu Master Builder event will involve or if visitors will be able to take a free mini build home with them. However, those that do attend the grand opening can pick up many new LEGO sets that launched on January 1, 2023, as well as grab a 40580 Blacktron Cruiser GWP with spends over $190 and a 40605 Lunar New Year VIP Add-On Pack with purchases above $50.

I attended this evening, they were out of the Blacktron and New Year GWP’s, but every order received a free reusable bag, and orders over $120 received the new 40528 Lego Store. in a seperate area outside the store, there were 10-15 tables where you could help build a piece of Grogu. Essentially each table was building one giant brick with a specific number assigned, that the lego employees would then attach to the main model. if you helped build a piece, you received a certificate of participation as well.
