The perfect way to display the mini Falcon from 2024’s LEGO Star Wars advent calendar
Here’s an ingenious way to display one of the early miniature builds from the LEGO Star Wars advent calendar for 2024.
You’d have to be very far behind on your LEGO Star Wars advent calendar for this to be a spoiler but, just in case, spoilers ahead for day nine. 2024’s LEGO Star Wars advent calendar has been packed full of miniature versions of iconic ships, including none other than the Millennium Falcon itself. Its recognisable silhouette is impressively well recreated – but its tiny stature means displaying it could be tricky.
Thankfully, one redditor, FriskyGiblitz, has an ingenious solution. They’ve attached it to the bridge of 75252 Imperial Star Destroyer, mimicking the way Han Solo avoids detection in The Empire Strikes Back.

The scale is surprisingly accurate, although we haven’t done the maths to make sure it’s exactly right. From far away, you’d blink and miss the tiny Falcon but it’s a fun detail for when you look close.
Fellow LEGO Star Wars fans in the comments have been applauding the idea, with one commenting: “That’s amazing, and not only that, but it also enhances the Star Destroyer’s value as a display piece. Imagine people’s reaction when they spot it.”
Others have started wondering just how big a Star Destroyer you’d need to build in order to display 75192 Millennium Falcon in the same way. Again, we’ve not done the maths but you’d probably need a Star Destroyer bigger than a car. If anyone’s looking for a project during the festive period, it’s certainly one way to ring in the new year.

I will be putting the Mini Falcon inside my 2019 Millennium Falcon, as mini display piece.
We heard you like Millennium Falcons etc etc.
Thanks for the tip, now to take a mortgage in order to buy the big one
