Potential dates for LEGO Valentine’s Day GWP spotted online

The dates and international minimum spend for the LEGO Group’s next gift-with-purchase have surfaced online, thanks to early reviews of the set.

40679 Love Gift Box is 2024’s LEGO Valentine’s Day GWP, featuring a Shiba Inu sitting in a heart-shaped chocolate box. Thanks to an early review from The Brick Fan, the international minimum spend and dates have been revealed (although not yet officially confirmed by the LEGO Group). The GWP will be available between February 1 and 14 on all LEGO purchases of $75 /€75, likely setting the UK threshold at around £65, judging from similar past promotions.

This is the ideal timing to add an extra gift to any LEGO sets you might be buying for Valentine’s Day this year. Naturally, a classic gift for LEGO fans around this time of year is a set from the Botanical Collection, but the LEGO Group has also started putting together other suggested gifts that would work well as a romantic present or a fun activity to do with someone you care about.

Younger builders might enjoy building 40711 Hedgehog Picnic Date with you, or brighten up your space with 31211 Macaw Parrots or 31208 Hokusai – The Great Wave, both slightly more involved builds. Out of those options, only the last will instantly qualify you for the GWP but remember you can stack LEGO sets to get over that minimum spend for an extra treat around Valentine’s Day.
