Power Rangers and Pirates of the Caribbean for LEGO 2017?

Rumours are circulating that the 2017 LEGO product range will include Power Rangers, Pirates of the Caribbean and Cars 3. It’s half way through the year, which means these rumours start trickling through the Internet, all of which should be treated with caution until official confirmation comes from the LEGO Group.

According to the Brick Fan, these are the new ranges apparently hitting shelves next year:

The new Power Rangers movie will be hitting the big screen next year and it appears that there will be sets based on it.

Furthermore, Cars 3 will be in theaters next year as well and it looks like there will be a few sets to go along with it.

Next are some sets based on the upcoming Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales with sets ranging from 75990-75993. This marks the return of the POTC theme which has done fairly well in the past.

Power Rangers has been a mainstay on the toy aisle since it was first introduced in 1993. Construction ranges have been attempted in the past, but this would mark the first time that the LEGO Group have partnered with Saban. The new movie is set to take a darker, grittier tone that the TV series has tended towards.
