Profiling every BTS member and their LEGO Ideas minifigure

LEGO Ideas 21339 BTS Dynamite features minifigures of all seven members, so here’s a look at each member of BTS with their new minifigure.

The LEGO Group’s first major foray into the world of K-pop has been officially revealed as 21339 BTS Dynamite is launching in early March 2023 for £89.99 / $99.99 / €99.99. However, while BTS enthusiasts will undoubtedly recognise the layout of the model, the minifigures are the real highlight of 21339 BTS Dynamite.

With all seven members represented in an outfit taken straight from the video, we’re taking a look at each member’s first LEGO depiction and profiling them for those unfamiliar with BTS.

Jin

As the group’s oldest member born on December 4, 1992, Jin made his debut as one of the four vocalists in BTS with their debut single album 2 Cool 4 Skool on June 2, 2013. Currently, Jin is a  vocalist and visual in BTS and even has a mukbang show, where he eats food and addresses the audience, called Eat Jin.

Suga

Born March 9, 1993, is a rapper in BTS but has also produced several songs not only for BTS but also for other K-pop groups including IU and Heize. He also made his BTS debut in the 2 Cool 4 Skool single album.

j-hope

With the positions of rapper and dancer, j-hope was born on February 18, 1994, and is a choreographer for the group too. Outside of BTS, j-Hope has some solo projects available including his Hope World mixtape.

RM

RM, short for Real Me, is the leader and a rapper in BTS and also debuted in 2 Cool 4 Skool. He taught himself how to speak English by watching Friends and was born on September 12, 1994. His solo career consists of two mixtapes (RM and Mono, released in 2015 and 2018 respectively), and his first studio album Indigo, which debuted in December 2022.

Jimin

Born October 13, 1995, Jimin is a vocalist and dancer in BTS. As a solo artist, he has released two unofficial songs but under BTS, he has released three solo songs. In BTS, he holds the position of vocalist and dancer.

V

Dancer, visual and vocalist V wears a striking green ensemble in Dynamite and was born December 30, 1995. Unlike other members of the band, he made his acting debut in the 2016 drama Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth.

Jung Kook

The youngest member of BTS is Jung Kook, who was born on September 1, 1997. In BTS, he has the position of center, vocalist, dancer and visual. He originally auditioned for the South Korean talent show Superstar K, though he was not selected. However, casting offers from entertainment companies saw him become a trainee under Big Hit Entertainment and eventually join BTS.
