Every LEGO Classic Space astronaut you can assemble through Pick a Brick

With double points to boot

Every LEGO Classic Space astronaut you can assemble through Pick a Brick

A significant number of LEGO Classic Space astronaut pieces are currently available at Pick a Brick, including enough to assemble several full minifigures – and with double points on top right now.

The roster of Classic Space astronaut colours is about to expand thanks to 11374 Arcade Pinball Machine, and we’ve already updated the running total of minifigures you’ll need for a complete collection. Some of those are (or were) available in whole in sets, while others need to be put together piecemeal from various different sources – one of which is Pick a Brick.

If you’re looking to build (or continue building) your own Classic Space minifigure collection, here’s everything currently available at Pick a Brick at the time of writing. For the rest you’ll need to turn to the likes of BrickLink or the upcoming 11374 Arcade Pinball Machine, but with double Insiders points at Pick a Brick until June 29, this is a great starting point.

LEGO Ideas 21358 minifigure vending machine review (33)

All the parts you need for the teal and gold astronauts, which debuted in last year’s 21358 Minifigure Vending Machine, are currently available to buy at Pick a Brick. A fully-assembled single minifigure (including the helmet, head, torso, air tanks and legs) will set you back £2.43 in the UK.

Helmets

The Classic Space helmet with the taller visor opening is currently available in seven different colours on Pick a Brick. As well as teal and gold, you can buy it in orange, bright green, regular green, dark blue and white.

The corresponding legs for all those colours are available to buy (see further down), alongside the standard smiley heads, but not all have matching air tanks – and none beyond teal and gold have matching torsos.

Air tanks

The air tanks (or ‘mini oxygen bottles’, as they’re called on Pick a Brick) come in nine different flavours: orange, gold, yellow, bright green, teal, light blue, dark blue, black and white. The light blue versions will also be available in 11374 Arcade Pinball Machine as part of the full minifigure.

Torsos and legs

Finally, the easiest and trickiest pieces of the puzzle: block-colour legs are available for nearly every single Classic Space astronaut new and old, but the only torsos are teal and gold.

Still, it’s worth noting that if you’re angling for the dark blue astronaut, the corresponding torso only appeared in the Build-a-Minifigure bar with yellow hands, so it’s probably worth picking up a torso with matching dark blue hands from Pick a Brick while you’re there. City’s Arctic Explorers minifigures are good for those…

This is very much just a starting point for a Classic Space astronaut collection, although it’s fair to assume that a few months from now the light blue variant will be available in full on Pick a Brick too (and hopefully the light blue space baby alongside it).

Part of the fun of assembling a collection like this though is piecing it together bit by bit, rather than just buying the minifigures outright (which is also often more expensive). Remember that you’ll earn double LEGO Insiders points on all purchases at Pick a Brick through June 29, so if you are angling to start this collection this is a great time to do so.
