Getting a full purple LEGO Classic Space astronaut just got easier

There are now multiple ways to build your own full purple LEGO Classic Space astronaut – or you could just buy one for a costly sum on eBay.

In case you haven’t already built your own Classic Purple Space astronaut, there’s now no need. Instead of harvesting parts from various different figures, you can buy a ready-made Classic Purple Space astronaut in full. One seller on eBay has a bid running until 5.30pm on Sunday January 29 (BST), with bids coming out at a whopping £56 – and rising.

Other sellers (like this one and this one) have ‘Buy It Now’ options of £104.50 and £97.80 respectively. These eye-watering prices come out as more than it would cost to build your own little purple guy, but with none of the hassle of tracking different minifigure elements. Not all of the elements are yet available on Pick A Brick, so it’s a matter of buying the actual sets or seeking them out on secondhand markets.

Ultimately, it’s not the most straightforward process in the world – but pressing ‘Bid’ on eBay is the simplest step out there.
