Quick: LEGO Creator Expert 10294 Titanic is finally back in stock online

A full two months after it last sold out, the incredibly hard-to-find LEGO Creator Expert 10294 Titanic is back in stock online – but probably won’t be around for long.

Best act fast if you want a ticket on one of the biggest LEGO voyages to date, because there’s no telling just how quickly this batch of Titanics will sell out. The 9,090-piece set is currently on back order in the UK and Europe, and will ship by April 19, which means you could have it in hand in less than two weeks.

To our knowledge, this is the first time 10294 Titanic has been available on this side of the pond – from which the real-life vessel made its original departure – since February 12, when it sailed off virtual store shelves (and, subsequently, out of Brick Fanatics’ Top 20 LEGO Sets List) after just two days back in stock. If you’re on the other side of the Atlantic, you’re unfortunately out of luck: it’s still out of stock in the US.

The timing of 10294 Titanic’s return to LEGO.com in the UK and Europe is bittersweet: the next couple of days mark the 110th anniversary of the ship’s sinking in the Atlantic Ocean, on its way to New York City. Between 1,490 and 1,635 people lost their lives in the tragedy, which has now been enshrined over a century later in one of the largest LEGO sets of all time.

10294 Titanic retails for £554.99 in the UK and €629.99 in Europe, which is no small chunk of change. But given this set’s spotty availability, you’re probably better off ordering while you can, rather than waiting for double VIP points or a gift-with-purchase.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
