LEGO Ideas 21339 BTS Dynamite is likely to be a hit with fans of the K-pop group, but there’s still value for those more interested in the model itself.

21339 BTS Dynamite is catering to a potentially newer area of the LEGO Group’s audience, bringing in fans of K-pop by recreating one of the most iconic and popular groups of all time. However, those with little to no interest in K-pop and BTS may still find something to enjoy in the new LEGO Ideas model

21339 BTS Dynamite launches on March 1, 2023, for £89.99 / $99.99 / €99.99 and here are five reasons it’s worth buying for those not into K-pop.

5 – Fashion

The minifigures are a major aspect of 21339 BTS Dynamite and their outfits are taken straight from the music video, meaning they’re new and exclusive to this set. The costumes featured from the Dynamite music video aren’t too unusual and could easily be integrated into a standard LEGO display for more casual flesh-coloured minifigures.

Since flesh-coloured minifigures are more commonly featured as superheroes or warriors, standard outfits are unusual for them, making this an appealing aspect of 21339 BTS Dynamite.

4 – Buildings

The section of buildings included in 21339 BTS Dynamite are brightly coloured but not unrealistic and could be placed into a LEGO City for an interesting reference to the K-pop group, or just to have a donut and record shop for your minifigures to use.

They have interiors to boot but note that the top, rear and side of the model are open, making this model better suited to a spot in the back corner of your display.

3 – Minifigure display

Other than the street and ice cream truck, 21339 BTS Dynamite also has a stage on which you can display the seven included minifigure. However, there are turntables integrated into this assembly that are entirely hidden by the minifigure’s legs.

Remove the BTS logo and speakers and this is a great display for any kind of minifigure group to properly showcase every angle of them with ease.

There’s a new piece in 21339 BTS Dynamite as both SUGA and Jung Kook’s minifigures feature a new hair piece that is, at the time of writing, exclusive to 21339 BTS Dynamite.

This element is going to be available from March 1 in black and dark brown and offers another option to customise your minifigures with a modern and trendy hairstyle.

Using stickers and existing prints, another appealing aspect of 21339 BTS Dynamite is the array of interesting designs that you could repurpose throughout your collection.
