Rumoured LEGO Disney 2024 Stitch set may not be what you think

Rumours of Stitch’s inclusion in LEGO Disney’s 2024 selection may be exciting, but a previous report may be shedding some light on what’s to come.

Despite the popularity of the 65-episode show with multiple crossovers and its four movies, Stitch’s representation in LEGO Disney so far has been limited to two minifigures – most recently in the retired 71038 Disney 100. Multiple LEGO Ideas projects have attempted to bring experiment 626 into a more prominent role in the theme – though via a fan-designed set.

A new rumour from tandbricks on Instagram has teased that Stitch could be about to feature more heavily in LEGO Disney, though to what extent is unclear. However, it’s not the first rumour of more LEGO Lilo & Stitch in 2024. Back in August, a report from exabrickslego_go via brick_clicker stated that a buildable Stitch figure could be coming in 2024.

For an idea of what you may be able to expect from such a build, Legohaulic‘s rejected LEGO Ideas project proposed something similar. However, it would be nice to see the inclusion of a Stitch minifigure, as well as other characters from the show.

This LEGO Disney 2024 rumour and the previous report remain just that at the time of writing and should be taken with ample caution until confirmation arrives officially.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
