Sail away with LEGO Icons 10294 Titanic before the movie’s re-release

James Cameron’s Titanic will be re-released in cinemas next month, making it the perfect time to pick up LEGO Icons 10294 Titanic.

A mainstay of the Brick Fanatics’ Top 20 LEGO Sets List and a model that regularly sails in and out of stock, 10294 Titanic is a massive build with a colossal price to match. The 9,090-piece ship is priced at £589.99 / $679.99 / €679.99 and is currently on back order in the UK and Europe, although it is possible for those in the US to pick up the LEGO Icons set right now.

Interest in 10294 Titanic is likely to surge again very soon, as James Cameron’s award-winning film is due to be re-released in cinemas next month to celebrate its 25th anniversary. As with the re-release of the original Avatar last year, the movie will be screened in 3D 4K HDR with a high-frame-rate, a technical process that does tend to divide the opinion of moviegoers.

Titanic was launched in 1997 and retells the story of the gigantic ocean liner’s ill-fated maiden voyage. The film was a phenomenal box office hit, proving to be incredibly popular with audiences and critics worldwide, as well as going on to win 14 Academy Awards. Paramount Pictures has announced that Titanic will be sailing into cinemas once more on February 10, 2023, with Jack and Rose’s tragic tale of romance arriving just in time for er… Valentine’s Day.

In the meantime, we’ll be sure to keep an eye on 10294 Titanic reappearing on the UK and Europe online stores and update you as soon as the LEGO Icons sets is back in stock.
