First rumoured back in July, it is now confirmed that the LEGO Group will launch sets based on Solo: A Star Wars Story on April 20. Rebelscum discovered the official date in a LEGO consumer catalogue.
The movie is due for release on May 25, 2018. It is directed by Ron Howard, who took over the top job after Phil Lord and Chris Miller were fired by Lucasfilm. Extensive reshoots were scheduled to re-imagine the film more to Lucasfilm’s liking. Alden Ehrenreich plays the title role of Han Solo, with Joonas Suotamo reprising his role of Chewbacca from Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
The range based on Solo: A Star Wars Story is rumoured to comprise of five regular sets and two constraction figures. Unsurprisingly, the largest is expected to be the Millennium Falcon.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi is in cinemas now. The LEGO sets based on the upcoming movie are available now.
