Star Wars: Ahsoka premiere is most-watched title on Disney+

Ahsoka’s viewership for its first week on Disney+ has been announced, making it the most-watched title on the platform from the last week.

Lucasfilm have confirmed that Ahsoka’s first episode, Master and Apprentice, has drawn 14 million views in one week, but did not disclose the viewership of the second episode – Toil and Trouble. This news comes as the writer and actor strikes in Hollywood continue.

Ahsoka has become a fan favourite with people of all ages and it’s wonderful to see her continue to resonate with viewers in her very own headlining series,” states Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy.

“I want to recognize the fantastic work done by our creative team, led by Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau, the incredible cast led by Rosario Dawson and our talented crew – and on behalf of the team and all of Lucasfilm, we give our thanks to all the fans who have been with Ahsoka on every step of her journey and to all those who are just learning about her now in Ahsoka on Disney+.”

It’s unlikely that this news would have been announced if Disney and Lucasfilm weren’t pleased with Ahsoka’s viewership so far. The third episode in the series is streaming tomorrow morning at 2am BST and the first two are available to watch now on Disney+

A range of Ahsoka LEGO Star Wars sets are available later this week too, including 75357 Ghost & Phantom II which we’ve reviewed in a recent video.

Disney is reported to be pulling back on Marvel and Star Wars content in the future but for now, several shows are in development for a galaxy far, far away including The Acolyte and Skeleton Crew.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
