A second season of Star Wars: Ahsoka may be in the works as Rosario Dawson has revealed insight into what's currently happening.
Ahsoka has now ended with eight episodes in total and – without diving into spoilers – has a few cliffhangers to resolve, the reveal that a second season may be in the works should come as good news.
“I mean, they’ve not said anything officially, but I remember when we were at Star Wars Celebration in London and they revealed they were giving Dave Filoni a movie,” Rosaria Dawson says in an interview with Vanity Fair.
"I've kind of felt like that means we’re probably going to get a second season for a while now, and especially now with the strike and everything, no one can say anything. But he did say he was working on an outline. So, we’ll see.”
The fact that Filoni is working on an outline and is now the Chief Creative Officer at Lucasfilm suggests that we're well on the way to getting a second season of Ahsoka and given how the first season ended, we can only hope for the best. This isn't a confirmation of a second season just yet, but it's at least plausible enough for an outline to be worked on.
