New Star Wars: The Bad Batch posters highlight need for Season 2 minifigure designs
See the updated outfits for our favourite band of clones up close and in detail, with new characters posters for The Bad Batch Season 2.
As the release date for The Bad Batch fast approaches, Disney is ramping up the anticipation. On December 28, a new 30-second ad spot dropped on YouTube, offering brief glimpses of fresh footage of the upcoming second season. While those shots are hard to spot small details on, fresh posters offer a more precise look at the characters’ new looks.
So far, posters for Omega and Hunter have emerged, with more expected in the next few days according to StarWarsNewsNet.com. However, even these new images contain plenty of new inclusions that could translate into updated minifigure designs.
Omega has quite clearly grown up some since Season 1, now kitted out with a helmet and new outfit. Hunter is also letting more of his individuality show, with mismatched armour tracking the battles he’s been through and a red scarf to go with his signature headband. Omega has already appeared in 75323 The Justifier without the helmet, prompting hopes that we could get a brand new minifigure to go with any Season 2 sets.

There are certainly enough changes in these characters alone to warrant a new minifigure design in future LEGO Star Wars sets associated with The Bad Batch. However, no further The Bad Batch sets have been confirmed, so we can only keep our fingers crossed for news from the LEGO Group at some point.
