LEGO Star Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi BrickHeadz double pack price and release date rumoured

Rumours of a LEGO Star Wars BrickHeadz double pack have been updated, potentially revealing that it is based on the Obi-Wan Kenobi series.

Towards the end of November 2021, the first reports of a Star Wars BrickHeadz set depicting Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader emerged from Instagram user greekbricks. That same source has now shared that they believe the double pack to be named 40547 Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader.

The latest post reports that the rumoured model will cost $19.99 and is scheduled to release in May, the same month as the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi streaming series on Disney+, which launches on May 25.

In response to another user, the source suggested that the rumoured set will tie into the show. Darth Vader already received a BrickHeadz build in 2018 with 41619 Darth Vader, giving us an idea of what the character’s design looks like when translated into the brick-built caricature style. However, Obi-Wan Kenobi has yet to be transformed into a BrickHeadz model.

While these rumours should be taken with caution until officially confirmed by the LEGO Group, the same user previously reported on a life-sized recreation for Mjölnir before 76209 Thor’s Hammer was revealed.

Both Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen have been confirmed for the Obi-Wan Kenobi series as the titular character and Anakin Skywalker respectively, with the latter potentially portraying Darth Vader too. You can tune into the show starting from May 25, 2022.

It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes.
