Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023 kicks off from tomorrow

The moment fans have been waiting for is nearly here, as Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023 finally kicks off from tomorrow.

Fans of the Force will be descending in their masses on ExCel London this weekend for the four-day experience known as Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023. The event is due to take place from April 7-10 at the location and should be a truly momentous gathering for all of those who make the trip to this year’s star-studded show.

Those who do will get the opportunity to check out multiple panels, with famous faces in attendance (and a few surprises being revealed), pick up celebrity autographs and grab a mountain of exclusive must-have merchandise. Those who can’t make it to the event in person can follow some of the excitement online, with Star Wars Celebration Live! providing coverage of the show on the official Star Wars website and a dedicated YouTube channel.

The LEGO Group is also confirmed to be in attendance at Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023 and located at booth N320, where fans should be able to grab an exclusive in the shape of an early release for 40623 Battle of Endor Heroes. The LEGO Star Wars BrickHeadz set includes versions of Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Lando Calrissian, Wicket and R2-D2 and ties into the 40th anniversary of Return of the Jedi.

Over at the Collectors Stage on April 8 from 12pm to 1pm will be a panel revealing the evolution of the humble LEGO Star Wars X-wing, right up to the soon-to-be-available 75355 X-wing Starfighter. It’s not known if anyone from the LEGO Group will be appearing at that specific panel (or any others), but we’ll be sure to report any breaking news over the coming weekend if and when it emerges.
