Star Wars’ The Mandalorian could bring new LEGO Greef Karga minifigure

The trailer for the third season of The Mandalorian suggests that a new Greef Karga LEGO minifigure could be on its way.

The brand-new trailer and poster for the hit Star Wars show have got plenty to unpack, but one inclusion in particular is jumping out to us. Greef Karga appears on what looks like Nevarro, a volcanic planet located in a sector of the Outer Rim Territories. While his backdrop is impressive, his outfit is even more so.

Din Djarin’s old friend is resplendent in a ceremonial robe, cut in red and cream colours on top, with a neck chain and loose-fitting brown clothes underneath. He’s looking much different from his normally battle-ready bounty hunter clothes – which of course means we’re hoping for an updated minifigure to match.

So far, the LEGO versions of Greef Karga that we’ve had feature him in his fighting gear, as seen in 75292 The Razor Crest, or black magistrate robes, as seen in 75311 Imperial Armored Marauder. While the same head from the latter could work, featuring the white beard Carl Weathers is sporting in the above photo, the finery he’s now clothed in surely deserves a redesign.

There are already a number of rumoured LEGO Star Wars sets possibly on their way related to the live-action show, so it’s certainly not out of the realms of possibilities. We’ll need to wait until we get any confirmation from the LEGO Group to be sure but, based on how good Greef Karga looks, this seems too good an opportunity to miss.
