Star Wars: The Acolyte characters and story details revealed

Following the first trailer for Star Wars: The Acolyte, character details are starting to be revealed with our first look at a High Republic book character.

News for the upcoming Star Wars: The Acolyte series is in full force today as the online Star Wars Databank has updated following the release of the first trailer earlier today. The update includes character descriptions with some interesting plot details throughout. It also makes it easier to put some names to the new faces we see in the High Republic series.

Of the character listings, Sol is confirmed to be going through an emotional conflict and Mae ends up swept up in a conflict, suggesting that she may not be a traditional Star Wars villain. Jecki is confirmed to be Sol’s Padawan and Mother Aniseya has been revealed as a witch. Notably, the description does not mention her being a Nightsister which means we may be about to learn about a new kind of Star Wars witch.

Of the many character entries, Vernestra Rwoh’s is the most interesting as it offers a closer look at the character originally from the High Republic books and how she has grown up.

The description details a brief summary of the character’s history for those unfamiliar with the High Republic books but anyone who has read them is likely looking forward to seeing her in live action this summer.

Star Wars: The Acolyte releases on June 4 on Disney+ with a two-episode premiere.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
