Star Wars: The High Republic character coming to The Acolyte 

One of the first characters revealed for Star Wars: The High Republic is coming to The Acolyte in their live-action debut. 

During the High Republic panel at Star Wars Celebration earlier today, April 8, 2023, it was revealed that one of the characters from the era of stories mostly previously told in books and comics would be coming to The Acolyte. 

Recognizing our mistakes and doing better is the path of a Jedi.

Vernestra Rwoh is a Jedi Knight and one of the youngest in a generation. In The Acolyte she will be played by Rebecca Henderson. The Acolyte is due for release in 2024. 

The High Republic Era of stories was first explored in books and comics and has since recently expanded to Young Jedi Adventures. As well as The Acolyte, it will also include the Star Wars Eclipse game when that project releases. 

The inclusion of this character in The Acolyte could also offer mainstream audiences a look into the wider era of The High Republic’s stories before exploring them further. Further details for The Acolyte were revealed at the first showcase panel of Star Wars Celebration 2023. 

 No LEGO sets for The Acolyte are rumoured or confirmed at this time, though a Young Jedi Adventures model is launching later this year.
