Superheroes and school make up next chapter of LEGO Fortnite

The latest Star Wars-centric chapter of LEGO Fortnite is over, and the next is all about superheroes, school and Superman.

The Supernova Academy is the new focus of LEGO Fortnite until August 8, switching out Star Wars for superheroes in a new LEGO Pass, updates to LEGO Fortnite modes, and new LEGO Styles in the regular Battle Pass. This is as teased last month.

The new LEGO Pass featured 20 rewards, including an outfit with two Fortnite Styles and one LEGO Style, as well as an array of modern buildings and furnishings based on the fictional Supernova Academy. VenomFN has showcased the full LEGO Pass, which is available now for 1,400 V-Bucks.

LEGO Fortnite Odyssey and Brick Life have also received updates to tie into the superhero school storyline. Spires now appear in LEGO Fortnite Odyssey, and players are being tasked with investigating their sudden appearance.

LEGO Fortnite Brick Life is hosting a celebration for the Supernova Academy at the town square until July 15, much like the mode did for Star Wars last season.

Don’t overlook the new Battle Pass as well for the latest chapter of Fortnite. As ShuffleGamer showcases, there’s a variety of original outfits with LEGO Styles, as well as new outfits for Robin and Superman from the new 2025 film, releasing next month.

With seemingly no sets planned for the new Superman movie, the new LEGO Style appears to be as much as we’re going to get ahead of the film. The recent 76302 Superman Mech vs. Lex Luthor at least has a Superman minifigure, but it’s not based on the film directly.

These new LEGO offerings in Fortnite are available now until the dates specified, and the Star Wars season has officially come to end following yesterday’s Death Star live event.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
