Those with a bit more money to spend this weekend can find a few gems in the long list of LEGO August 2026 sets launching on Saturday.
From Ideas to Pokémon, next month is going to hit the bank accounts of LEGO enthusiasts worldwide hard, with many models over £150 to consider. Thankfully, they're not all that expensive. Following our list of the best LEGO builds coming in August under £25, we're back with another budget-conscious feature.
We've scoured the list of LEGO sets launching next month and picked out five of the best builds under £50, for the LEGO fan on a budget.

Of the five LEGO Editions / Botanicals Olivia Rodrigo models launching soon, 43029 Olivia Rodrigo’s Concert Moon is one of the greatest with 67 pieces for £44.99 / $49.99 / €49.99. It's one of the more affordable options for fans of the artist, and recreates one of her most iconic concert moments.
It comes with an exclusive Olivia Rodrigo minifigure, and when you remove it and the moon, it becomes a standard LEGO recreation of a record player. Should you pick up just one LEGO Olivia Rodrigo set next month, consider 43029 Olivia Rodrigo’s Concert Moon.

72158 Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly Battle
Price: £29.99 / $34.99 / €34.99 Pieces: 313 Release date: Aug 1, 2026

After highlighting the most affordable LEGO Pokémon set in our first feature, 72158 Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly Battle is next in the spotlight at £29.99 / $34.99 / €34.99. Partner Pokémon have been common in the new theme so far, but only from the first generation. Collecting all of the Kanto starters can be an expensive task, no matter what scale you get them at.
Thankfully, the same is not the case for the most recent trio of starter Pokémon. Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly from Paldea are all included in the new £29.99 / $34.99 / €34.99 set. It's a great model for anyone newer to Pokémon and enjoyed playing Scarlet and Violet.
