The best LEGO deals this week

Make that pay cheque go as far as possible – instead of buying your LEGO sets full price, check out these deals and bag a bargain

Toys R Us UK announced today that the discount on LEGO sets has increased to 25% off the pre-sale price, as part of the company’s closing down sale. As hard core bargain hunters know though, that barely qualifies as a discount. Unless it is on a high priced set, 25% is barely worth getting out of bed for – thankfully, Brick Fanatics has you covered with a round-up of the most tempting deals.

While small discounts may not be so tempting, exclusive free items certainly are. To celebrate 40 years of the minifigure, shop.LEGO.com is giving away 500538 Minifigure Factory free with orders worth £55 ($75) or more.

There are plenty of new products that have just launched to make up an order with, including 21314 TRON: Legacy Lightcycle, Collectible Minifigures Series 18 and a host of new BrickHeadz sets.

Amazon are matching a deal that Argos has on selected LEGO sets, amidst the usual decent discounts that the online retail giant offers. The one third discount on the 60th anniversary theme is appealing, but The LEGO NINJAGO Movie is the must-have this week.

All of the deals listed here are available while stocks last, so readers should be quick if there is a particularly appealing price.
