The biggest LEGO sets of all time – November 2022

With the recent reveal of 10307 Eiffel Tower, there’s a new massive model to join the list of the biggest LEGO sets of all time, but it’s not at the top.

Launching just in time for Black Friday on November 25, 2022, 10307 Eiffel Tower is one of the biggest LEGO sets ever made, joining the limited list of models to reach quintuple digits in its piece count. Unfortunately, the arrival of 10307 Eiffel Tower means 71741 NINJAGO City Gardens is the 11th biggest build, knocking it off this list.

While you wait for the release of 10307 Eiffel Tower and while you consider where you might be able to store the behemoth build, here’s a freshly updated list of the largest LEGO models for November 2022.

10 – LEGO ICONS 10299 Santiago Bernabéu – Real Madrid

Pieces: 5,876 Year: 2022 Price: £344.99 / £399.99 / €399.99

10299 Santiago Bernabéu – Real Madrid is the most recent entry into the line of LEGO stadium recreations, using over 5,000 pieces to pay homage to the team in a display-worthy build.

9 – LEGO Creator Expert 10189 / 10256 Taj Mahal

Pieces: 5,922 Year: 2008/ 2017 Price: 2008: £199.99 / $299.99 / €299.99 2017: £299.99 / $369.99 / €369.99

As a re-release of 10189 Taj Mahal, 10256 Taj Mahal has the exact same piece count as the older build with the same design too, so both models take this spot on the list. With a detailed build using simplistic and classic LEGO techniques, 10256 Taj Mahal remains a LEGO icon, even though it’s a Creator Expert set.

8 – Harry Potter 71043 Hogwarts Castle

Pieces: 6,020 Year: 2018 Price: £409.99 / $469.99 / €469.99

71043 Hogwarts Castle whisks you off to a world of magic and fantastical creatures with just over 6,000 pieces recreating the school of witchcraft and wizardry, including exclusive Hogwarts Founders minifigures and many interior rooms referencing the Harry Potter films.

7 – Star Wars 75331 The Razor Crest

Pieces: 6,187 Year: 2022 Price: £519.99 / $599.99 / €599.99

Not many LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collectors Series sets completely recreate the exterior and interior of their source vehicles, but 75331 The Razor Crest does just that with 6,187 pieces. Just try not to think about the ship’s status in The Mandalorian while building it.

6 – Star Wars 75313 AT-AT

Pieces: 6,785 Year: 2021 Price: £734.99 / $849.99 / €849.99

75313 AT-AT is as big as a small dog, really, with 6,785 pieces, also recreating the interior and exterior of the walker with thoughtful inclusions such as speeders and more.

5 – Star Wars 75192 Millennium Falcon

Pieces: 2017 Year: 7,541 Price: £734.99 / $849.99 / €849.99

75192 Millennium Falcon is the biggest LEGO Star Wars set with well over 7,000 pieces and it has become an iconic part of LEGO history by remaining on shelves for five years as of 2022.

4 – LEGO ICONS 10276 Colosseum

Pieces: 9,036 Year: 2020 Price: £474.99 / $549.99 / €549.99

10276 Colosseum is a more recent entry in the LEGO Group’s continuing efforts to recreate global landmarks out of bricks and once held the title of largest LEGO set with over 9,000 pieces, but that’s not quite enough pieces for the top spot any more.

3 – LEGO ICONS 10294 Titanic

Pieces: 9,090 Year: 2021 Price: £589.99 / $679.99 / €679.99

As of our last update, 10294 Titanic could have been argued to be the largest LEGO set ever released due to the piece selection in the model at the bottom of this list, though you can no longer argue that as even with 9,090 pieces, it has been surpassed by 10307 Eiffel Tower.

2 – 10307 Eiffel Tower

Pieces: 10,001 Year: 2022 Price: £554.99 / $629.99 / €629.99

10307 Eiffel Tower stands 149cm tall, easily earning it the title of tallest LEGO set ever, but with just over 10,000 pieces, it’s also one of the biggest builds ever. In volume, it’s a lot bigger than the next build but by piece count, it’s still over 1,000 pieces off.

1 – LEGO Art 31203 World Map

Pieces: 11,695 Year: 2021 Price: £214.99 / $249.99 / €249.99

10307 Eiffel Tower gets close to the 11,690-piece total of 31203 World Map but in order of piece count, the LEGO Art set still holds the crown for the biggest LEGO set. However, those considering volume instead would be correct in thinking that 10307 Eiffel Tower is a lot larger.
