The biggest LEGO sets of all time – May 2026

With the announcement of the biggest LEGO Lord of the Rings set ever, the model has instantly entered the list of the largest sets ever.

11377 The Lord of the Rings: Minas Tirith drops on June 1 for LEGO Insiders and June 4 for everyone, and its announcement has knocked fellow Middle-earth-based set 10316 The Lord of the Rings: Rivendell out of the top 10.

Here’s how the list looks as we approach the halfway point of 2026 with the inclusion of Minas Tirith. The list is, as ever, sorted by piece count ascending.
