The great LEGO 71040 The Disney Castle stock saga continues
LEGO 71040 The Disney Castle has sold out online yet again in the UK, marking the latest episode in the Magic Kingdom’s great stock saga.
It’s the only one of Brick Fanatics’ Top 20 LEGO Sets to continually drop in and out of stock over the past few months, as the LEGO Group seemingly struggles to keep up with demand for the 4,080-piece tribute to the House of Mouse.
First launched in 2016, it’s become a real mainstay of the LEGO portfolio – and according to Brick Fanatics’ sources, won’t be going anywhere anytime soon, as it’s currently scheduled to stay on shelves well into 2022.
That means you’ve still got plenty of time to grab it once it does come back in stock – pending any last-minute decisions to bring forward its retirement date, as has apparently happened with 21322 Pirates of Barracuda Bay.
Be among the first to know when 71040 The Disney Castle is available to order again by signing up to our stock alerts. We’ll drop you an email when the £299.99 set is back and ready to buy. If you’re in the US, you can order it right now.

Author Profile
- I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
