The LEGO Group refutes White House claim about cancelled set

After the White House Press Secretary claimed that the LEGO Group has stopped selling the Police Station, the company has corrected the record.

White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany recently told reporters that the LEGO Group has “halted the sales of their LEGO City Police Station”, as well as that animated series Paw Patrol has been cancelled.

USA Today reached out to the LEGO Group for comment, reporting the following:

LEGO’s City Police Station set is currently listed as a retired product on the company’s website, but the company has other police-themed sets, including a different City Police Station, available for purchase. LEGO’s Senior Director of Brand Relations Michael McNally told USA TODAY that the company retires products as new items are introduced and that the company did not halt the sale of any LEGO sets.
