The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part trading card promotion details

The details of The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part trading card promotion, that sees free cards available with select purchases, are now clear.

Coinciding with the release of 70840 Welcome to Apocalypseburg!, yesterday shop.LEGO.com launched a promotion, giving away free trading cards with purchases of The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part theme. Unfortunately, the details were hazy, but now in-store signage at the LEGO Store reveals how the deal actually works.

Each pack of cards contains four trading cards. Any purchase totaling £15 or more gets one pack for free, but any purchase totaling £40 or more gets three free packs. By logging as a VIP member, fans also get a free Collector Album to store the cards in. In total, there are 36 cards to collect, available in LEGO Stores as well as the official online shop.

In total there will be 36 cards to collect and fill the album with, each one showing a different character from the upcoming animated film.

The promotion is available until February 24 unless supplies run out before then.
